About
Akanksha Chopra
Founder, Talent Advisor & Executive Search Consultant
I've spent sixteen years inside recruitment and talent teams across India, the UAE and the US. Long enough to watch good companies, run by smart people, make the same mistake over and over. They treat every open role like a sourcing problem, even when it clearly isn't one.
I've sat in interview loops that ran seven rounds deep and watched strong candidates lose interest before round four. I've seen a hiring manager reject three excellent people in a row without once being able to say what a yes would actually look like. I've watched a good offer die quietly in the eleven days of silence between the final interview and the letter finally going out.
None of that gets fixed by sending more CVs. It gets fixed by someone willing to ask why the role is actually stuck before agreeing to search for it.
KSA Consulting exists because I got tired of watching that mistake happen from the inside, without being able to change how the search was run. Now I get to change it, before the search even starts.
In their words
People I've managed, and people who've managed me.
Six recommendations, kept to the ones that say something specific. Quoted close to verbatim, trimmed for length only, never reworded. They're genuine, but about me as a manager and colleague. None are from a KSA Consulting client yet.

What I won't do
A short list, kept on purpose.
- 01
I won't take on a search I don't think I can do well, even when the fee is good.
- 02
I won't send you a shortlist padded out to look thorough. If there are three strong candidates, you'll see three.
- 03
I won't go quiet between the kickoff call and the shortlist. You'll hear from me on a set schedule, not only when I happen to have news.
- 04
I won't recommend a hire I wouldn't recommend to a friend running the same business.
How it actually starts
What happens after you reach out.
The diagnostic call
Thirty minutes, no charge. We talk through the role, why it's actually open, and what's already been tried. Sometimes this call alone answers the question, and I'll tell you that instead of manufacturing a reason to be hired.
The scope, in writing
If a search makes sense, I send a one-page brief: the role, the real success criteria, the timeline, the fee. Nothing gets discovered later that wasn't already on the page.
The search
I go direct. Most people worth hiring for a leadership role aren't scrolling job posts. You get a short update every week, whether or not there's news to share.
The shortlist
You see the candidates I'd hire myself, not a pile built to look busy. Usually three to five people, each with a clear reason they made the list.
The offer
I stay in the room through the negotiation. This is where good hires get lost to silence and slow paperwork, so I don't let it go quiet.
After the start date
I check in at day one, day thirty and day ninety. If something's wrong, I'd rather hear it from you at day thirty than at the exit interview.
